School lunch costs $3.15 and is provided by the Avon Community School Corporation. All students have a lunch account for the purchase of lunch and milk. Money can be deposited into this account through the Kingsway main office or online using Titan.
Orders can be placed through RenWeb or through the main school office and are due on Friday at 9:00 AM for the following week.

Kingsway Christian School and Avon Community School Corporation partner to serve lunch to students. The partnership allows families to participate in the National School Lunch Program. Food is prepared by a team of foodservice professionals at a nearby Avon building and transported daily. Students have a choice of four entrees daily, and all lunches include a fruit, vegetable and milk for just $3.05.
The government regulates the portion sizes of foods that are considered part of the reimbursable meal. The meal pattern specifies the minimum number of servings and portion sizes for each of the required components. Serving sizes are adjusted to meet the nutritional needs of students according to age. Meal prices are calculated based on the recommended serving sizes.
Menus are planned to meet certain nutritional requirements as required by the government including calories, saturated fat, trans fat and sodium. All nutritional information is listed here.
Commodities are food items that are purchased by the USDA and allocated to school corporations at a reduced cost depending upon availability. Commodities must meet high quality specifications as do all other food purchases. Commodity foods only contribute to about 20% of our total food purchases.
