3rd Grade

Third grade is a time for discovery and we at KCS believe that this discovery with learning should be fun and practical. Our teachers look for interesting ways to introduce their students to God’s world around us and train them to be good stewards with the gifts God has given us. 

While in third grade, our students:

• Begin to understand the concept of being a good steward by participating in classroom mini-economies.  They earn and spend classroom money in their classroom prize stores.
• Learn more about the wonders of God’s creation in the human body.  This concludes with a trip to NIFS, where they learn about all of their muscles and participate in small group activities to exercise all the muscles they learned about.
• Learn about different cultures and unique qualities of God’s people from around the world.
