Mr. Hughes

Alan Hughes is the Administrator at Kingsway Christian School. His favorite school days memory is from his senior year on the baseball team.  His only error on third base that season was due to a dusty infield.  A ground ball was hit to him and he picked up dirt instead of the ball, covering the ball with dirt.  He, the shortstop, and left fielder couldn’t find the ball, which was still in the infield, until the slow runner got to third base!

It’s hard to choose my favorite memory from my school days.  I could talk about winning the science fair in 8th grade.  I could talk about my first ever Bible class when I came to Kingsway and how I thought that Letters was a book in the Bible.   I think my greatest memory from school was the last day of my eighth grade year at Kingsway.  I had only been a Kingsway student for a year, but that’s all it took to change my heart.  I was baptized in front of my entire class with my two wonderful friends.
